ABOUT ME

My Background

I am Anthony Ealy Jr., a lawyer running for the Missouri House of Representatives in District 36. The people of Grandview and Kansas City deserve bold, new leadership. I am the person to deliver results for working people.

I am the son of a mail union leader, and I am incredibly proud of my working-class roots. I  graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2020. While in law school, I was a member of the National Black Law Students Association’s (NBLSA) 52nd Board of Directors. I also served as the National Convention Coordinator.

I have been involved in politics throughout my career. I am a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation member, and I worked with Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II. I also interned for the Minority Floor Leader in the Missouri State Capitol.

I believe our politicians should serve the community, so I always volunteer to help the people of District 36 through organizations such as the Grandview Youth Court Board of Directors. I am actively involved in my church, and I serve on the Presidential Advisory Committee and Black Alumni Board for Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU).
